“What we call our destiny is truly our character and that character can be altered. The knowledge that we are responsible for our actions and attitudes does not need to be discouraging, because it also means that we are free to change this destiny. One is not in bondage to the past, which has shaped our feelings, to race, inheritance, background. All this can be altered if we have the courage to examine how it formed us. We can alter the chemistry provided we have the courage to dissect the elements.” ― Anais Nin, The Diary of Anaïs Nin, Vol. 1: 1931–1934
Any responsibility, let it be for our actions or attitudes, or any other life’s things that can change the course of our life, or the responsibility of taking care of those around us that depend on us, is serious enough to put all our effort into, to succeed.
Being responsible comes together with growing up, in the end, we are responsible for how our life turned out and how we feel at the end of the day.
Taking charge of life is the only way on how we can do whatever we want to, the way we want. We are responsible for what we feel, how we act, and what we do – your life and you are in charge.
