“The body is a slave to its impulses. But the thing that makes us human is what we can control. After the storm, after the rush, after the heat of the moment has passed, we can cool off and clean up the messes we made. We can try to let go of what was.” — Meredith Grey

In any situation in life, there will be happy moments, sad moments, angry moments, and moments where we say things that we don’t actually mean. And there is always a chance, right after any moment has passed, where we can think about what we said, collect our thoughts and clean up the mess we have made.

There’s always a chance to say, I’m sorry for what I said, because at any moment there can be conversations, there can be things said that can hurt somebody, and knowing how to own up on our mistakes and things we said and say that we’re sorry, is a great thing to know how to do.

We are super passionate, we can heat up in a moment, and our thoughts can run and run and sometimes we can’t collect ourselves and we say things that we don’t mean, but if we can grow up and actually be the ones that recognize that we have made a mistake or we have hurt somebody and then apologize for that, then we could actually make this world a better place.
