“If you get stuck, get away from your desk. Take a walk, take a bath, go to sleep, make a pie, draw, listen to music, meditate, exercise; whatever you do, don’t just stick there scowling at the problem. Open a gap, create a space. Be patient.”
― Hilary Mantel
Firstly, let’s talk about what problem-solving actually means – so, in simple words, it is the method or multiple methods we use to understand what is happening in our life, by identifying things we want to change or can change and then figuring out the things that we need to do to be able to create the desired outcome.
From time to time, we all come to a moment in life where we want to change or improve something in our future, and when in the path to that we meet a challenge or a problem we have two options – either find a solution to solve things or move on and forget about it.
When we find a solution we are giving ourselves a chance to evolve, grow and learn, and when we move on and try to forget it, we are giving ourselves the easy option – a way out without putting in any effort.
