Last year I was full-on on taking this platform and turning it into my blogging platform and writing about what is happening in my life, and therefore helping others see they are not alone and maybe in return help them move forward.

I had this plan for New Year’s Eve, I thought I would be eating a cake, drinking champagne, and celebrating with my husband and son, but instead, I was recovering from gallbladder surgery, and it was painful and disappointing.

It wasn’t in my plans, nor was it something planned. It was a medical emergency and there was nothing I could do to take control of it.

Now sitting here in my bedroom, recovering and feeling bad because I can’t pick up my 5 month old for whole 4 weeks, I can see and feel how much I appreciate people in my life. Without even asking them anything, they are here and they are helping me.

So in my reflection of things I have come to understand two things –

  1. Let people help you if they express the willingness to do so
  2. Healthy eating and healthy living is my only option
