Get Yourself Out of Your Comfort Zone
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
― H. Jackson Brown Jr.
This one is a tough one, especially if you are like me – afraid of so many things, that I miss out on so many great adventures at the end of the day.
Life is so full of different opportunities and daily choices. And waking up one day, feeling the instant regret of not doing more, is a scary thought.
Living Daily Without Any Regrets
Choices are there for a reason, how else will we know that we don’t like something if not trying things out, or how else will we know that we are moving in the direction we want our life to go?
Choosing one or another and not regretting your decision is what we all need to do. Living with regret can be harshly painful and a wrong way to live life.
Whatever we do in life, eventually we will get where we desire ourselves to be, so try out things, try out new things, say things out loud, and don’t keep yourself quiet because of fear.
Life is short, and not letting ourselves be ourselves, is a crime in itself. Let yourself be and ditch regret altogether.
Get Yourself Out of Your Comfort Zone
Ah, cozy. It is so easy in life to get to your safe zone and stay there forever. Everything there is so familiar and so predictable, that there is no real need actually to think or make choices.
We only have one life to live, so why waste it?
Be silly, be unique, try things out (but remember to be responsible for your actions), travel, see the world, meet people, and sing, and sing out loud.
Ditch your warm, cozy blanket and see what else is out there. Fear is a good and a bad thing to have, yes it tells us when things can be dangerous, but at the same time, it can keep us locked up and not let us go wander.
Conclusion
It is simple – know what you want in life and go for it. Don’t look back, life is changing and so should you. Stagnating in one place only brings more problems and difficulties – be unique and be yourself.
Surround yourself with people who push you to be the best version of you, and who allow you to be you – vulnerable in itself and strong enough to know when to stand up and ask for more in life.
