Stress seems to be one of the most common body reactions that a person faces today and that adversely can affect their overall health. Here are a few simple yet effective ways how to deal with stress in a quick and simple manner.

  1. Embrace someone you love. Embracing someone increases oxytocin, the so-called hormone of peace and love in the body, and it reduces blood pressure, which tends to rise during stress.
  2. Use lavender essential oil. Lavender flavor has been shown to reduce stress levels. If lavender is not available as a plant, use lavender essential oil, which can be added dropwise to the bath or hand cream, or used to refresh the room, or simply drizzle on a cotton ball and sprinkle it from time to time.
  3. Eat a piece of dark chocolate that contains at least 70% cocoa. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants that affect the gamma waves of the brain, which are also responsible for reducing stress.
  4. Make yourself smile. It is not the slightest desire to smile during stress, but even an artificial smile can help the body get rid of stress.
