Stress seems to be one of the most common body reactions that a person faces today and that adversely can affect their overall health. Here are a few simple yet effective ways how to deal with stress in a quick and simple manner.
- Embrace someone you love. Embracing someone increases oxytocin, the so-called hormone of peace and love in the body, and it reduces blood pressure, which tends to rise during stress.
- Use lavender essential oil. Lavender flavor has been shown to reduce stress levels. If lavender is not available as a plant, use lavender essential oil, which can be added dropwise to the bath or hand cream, or used to refresh the room, or simply drizzle on a cotton ball and sprinkle it from time to time.
- Eat a piece of dark chocolate that contains at least 70% cocoa. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants that affect the gamma waves of the brain, which are also responsible for reducing stress.
- Make yourself smile. It is not the slightest desire to smile during stress, but even an artificial smile can help the body get rid of stress.
