People are social beings, and each of us — one more, the other less — needs some contact and communication with those around us — friends, family, acquaintances, and relatives.
The pandemic situation took away these normal development needs, the so-called social brain suffered. As a result, many children, adolescents, and adults developed mental health problems and showed signs of social deprivation.
We all need to be up on things, within ourselves and within others. This time can be critical, for either making it or breaking it.
Opening our eyes and seeing things happening around us, and taking action if needed, can be a great help to others and ourselves. Simply being there for somebody who seems to need it, can be a really beneficial thing for them.
So let’s make a pledge of helping people when we see them in need. Let’s be a little more conscious about things happening around us and let’s make a little more extra effort in life.
“One day there will be no borders, no boundaries, no flags and no countries and the only passport will be the heart” ― Carlos Santana
