Accept Yourself for Who You Are
“The best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think the sun shines out your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.” — Juno
This quote is a great one, but it is a hard one. It hits different than most, just because it is so hard to find a person like that — a person who loves you for exactly who and what you are. And sometimes not even our parents can do that.
Yes, everything starts with accepting yourself as you are and then finding somebody who will love you for who and what you are. I agree that we all need a person like this in our life, and for the most part, it doesn’t need to be your partner. It can be a friend, a best friend, or one of your siblings.
