2 Creative Ways How to be More Mindful Everyday

Over the past two years, and more specifically the past 6 months, I have been trying to find a way to be more mindful in my everyday life. Being home with a 10-month-old has brought me many many busy days, where at the end of the day I can’t even recall what the day looked like, let alone what I was thinking through all of it.

In everyday life, where there are so many distractions, it can be really easy to get lost and have many distracting thoughts, and at the end of the day, it can be a moment where I realize that I haven’t done anything productive or at least something for myself.

Staying focused on the present can bring us so much more, it can do really great things for our health and wellness, not dwelling too long in the past, not looking too far in the future, but being here, present at the moment, living more mindfully, with a certain purpose in mind.

If we want to talk about a clear mindfulness definition, here it is — it is the state of our mind, where our mind is fully aware of what is happening right now, at this moment where we are at, and of what we are doing.
